1. Not his best speech, but...

  2. Just release it already
  3. Atu2.com just tweeted a u2place rumor that U2 tour next year will be multiple nights in cities with different set lists each night being focus.
They have never played a "pearl jam" kind of set so that would be new for them and me being a fan for 30 years(18 shows)
  4. If this is true I'll have to be getting tickets for BOTH nights (assuming they play two in Toronto - quite likely) which would be a first for me.

    This might get expensive.

Yes, we've been speaking about this in another topic
  6. and we hope it is true!

  7. Thinking fondly of it, it can be great if the band plays a city near to you but it can be a disaster if they don't. For example, if the 6x6 rumour ends being true, I don't think they would be doing any South American shows, and I don't think that most South American fans have the money and the time to travel to Paris, London or New York... The idea of getting 6 shows in a row with different setlists is amazing but the fact itself is not really appealing to me.

PS: Well, seeing them 6 times in Dublin is actually very appealing to me
  8. PS I wonder whether it'd commercially make sense. Would they sell out six shows in every city? They'd have to stick to the obvious candidates: Paris, NY, London, Dublin... although I understand the need to limit travels - traveling can be very tiring, even if you're U2.
  9. New York, London, Paris, Munich... ;-)
  10. ... Miami, New Orleans, London, Belfast and Berlin ...
