It's just way too high. When he did high notes on songs like No Line, Moment Of Surrender, This Is and Breathe, they sounded fine.

If these vocals were pitched down just a fraction and turned down in the mix, it'd be listenable. I can only hope the whole next album doesn't have these vocal styles attached.

+1 not a fan of it either

  2. Spot on.

You don't like what we've heard? That's alright. But HEY there is no need to repeat it in every post and quote every other one who dislikes it in agreement. It's only one minute and a couple of seconds and some of it is even drowned by actors voices, so there is not much to repeat about what we like/dislike.
  3. hahahahhahahah
  4. To be honest, I don't think there is anything wrong with the high notes.

  6. People complaining that Bono can sing in a high pitch and stay in key? Didn't think I'd ever hear that regardless of what one might think of the song itself
  7. I'm just glad we have some real news and not " we're getting there."
  8. I actually really like it. Makes me super excited for the full song and album. Hopefully coming soon!
  9. Going back on topic for a moment, Bono was at his niece's art exhibition yesterday:
