1. Haha i think i inhaled too many chemicals in my prac today

  2. 8O!!!! Is that Edge... PLAYING A GUITAR SOLO!?!??!?

I mean, I know he's played a couple of solos, in studio and live, before but this... is... mind blowing!!! His playing is more minamalist, not rock and roll solo-y and yet it hear this.

I'm getting too ahead of myself, since this is just a beach clip. But I think of all the attempts in trying to sound like The Beatles throughout their career (or taking influence and cues to them), I think this is the one where they ACTUALLY get it right. Cause that what this exactly sounds like.

Please, let this be the first single.
  3. Seems like most people agree that All My Life is a great song, how can we let the band know this?
  4. I agree about it being a great song.
They probably already know, they knew about Mercy too....but a petition could be tried again.
  5. I think it's possible the solo got reworked to the one in UC
  6. Maybe we will get it in 2029 for the 20 year anniversary of NLOTH

  7. Not even similar, different key, different strokes, different melody.

They learnt about Mercy being a fan favorite after many fans meeting them and telling them personally. They don't neccesarely know that many of us would like to see All My Life.

They're different though, Mercy was already finished and released... All we have about All My Life is a crappy recording at night.
  8. Moreover, if I ever get to meet the band, wasting seconds in telling them that we'd like to see All My Life someday is not among my priorities
  9. ^heart = broken
  10. Don't worry Andrew, you and I will get it done. I actually think this has an even better chance of getting released compared to something like Mercy. As Sergiosaid, Mercy was kind of released and talked about, whereas songs like All My Life I see more like City of Blinding Lights, a song that kicked around for years before the band finally deemed it worthy to release. Not to mention they've already expressed that the Rubin material is worth releasing.
  11. U2's gift for Nile Rodgers, few days ago... Quite unfortunate since Nile quit drinking over 20 years ago after a heave addiction

    Welcome to Dublin, Bono

    U2

    Black Velvet

    1 Part Champagne
    3 Part Guinness

In a well chilled large glass, pour simultaneously the champagne and guinness, do not stir.
The ingredients should also be chilled

    With the best wishes,
    'from the U2ers'
