Oscar for Ordinary Love might not be as far off as we think. I mean, the song is practically Oscar material. That's why it's getting such polarized responses.
I don't think the response is polarized further than the hard-die fans circles. The rest of the world just LOVES the song, judging from loads and loads of comments I've read on Twitter. For God's sake, even strong U2 haters recognise it's well written, interesting, relevant, catchy.
