1. Remember when NLOTH was getting promoted and Jo Whiley interviewed Bono:

    Hilarious stuff.

On the subject of BBC Radio 2 having bland music, it's a 50/50 split. Sometimes they have great music, but other times the music is appalling. It depends on the DJ, really.

Radio interviews with promiment people usually work that way, at least in Spain. The program sets an hour with the interviewee, then they call him/her with a good few minutes (maybe 10, 15 mins) in advance, the interviewee listens live (on the phone) to the program for a while and then he's presented and goes on air. I don't think those 15 minutes keep U2 from releasing a new album

15 minutes is 15 minutes and I can't wait a minute longer than necessary for the new album
  3. Bit of Jake Bugg, good taste.
  4. At first I thought this song was terrible but I like it now.
