    I think that, either you disagree or not, he had some balls to write this... the new generation is not so keen about him and this makes him look kinda greedy.. and mkes me admire him more

    I'd admire him more if he'd done his homework. The major labels are still raking in record profits; if musicians aren't making money, it's more to do with the labels' being utter bastards than with fans filesharing. Independent research has shown that fans who fileshare the most spend the most money on music anyway. Anyone who buys the industry line that "1 download = 1 lost sale" is on crack.

    Seriously, what an increible place to be, there and then. I wish I could ever get to play even just a small piece of a U2 song together with Bono... Oh, God. I've had shivers throughout the whole vid, just imagining how it would be playing One and Bono singing with me............ Too bad I don't have any chances xD

    Oh, and I love the One/Knocking medley, it's lovely, I'm going to practice it, it can be a nice addition to my list of songs to play at parties etc....

    And last, I hate how Bono forgets the lyrics. . .. . . Again

    I don´t understand that much that´s qhy i opened the topic, to get to know more about it and to know more opinions ... but i do agree with you that 1 download doesn´t mean 1 lost CD... recently I downloaded NLOTH and I bought the CD, I downloaded OK Computer and I bought the LP, I bought Dark Side of The Moon after I downloaded it and many many other records
