I'd admire him more if he'd done his homework. The major labels are still raking in record profits; if musicians aren't making money, it's more to do with the labels' being utter bastards than with fans filesharing. Independent research has shown that fans who fileshare the most spend the most money on music anyway. Anyone who buys the industry line that "1 download = 1 lost sale" is on crack.

... but i do agree with you that 1 download doesn´t mean 1 lost CD... recently I downloaded NLOTH and I bought the CD, I downloaded OK Computer and I bought the LP, I bought Dark Side of The Moon after I downloaded it and many many other records
