1. So, does this mean that those 8 drumband-boys will have to go on tour with U2? What are they doing there and does it really add to the performance?
  2. Good first live stab at Invisible with OL being simply beautiful. Very encouraging

Invisible will be a huge live favourite for sure. Played indoor with Bono in full flow will be fantastic.

    Visuals
  4. OL sounded great. Invisible not so much.

Am I the only one who is a bit concerned with Larry? It looks like he isn't verry happy or something. I know he's never been the laughing type but this doesn't look good imo.
  5. I like the performances.

The thing that is worrying me is that we get more and more used to the EDIT version of Invisible, or more precise: that U2 are going to get used to playing this (shorter) version live, which diminishes the chance of getting a 'full' album version..... I would love the album version to survive and be 5 or 6 minutes. (This 3 minutes is to short!)
  6. I like it too ... beatiful OL and Invisible with growth potential ... or they played too good or i m the only one who doubt about the music if it is live or not
  7. Big boost from Fallon on ITunes. Both songs in top 100. Biggest surprise is OL is 56. Invisible is 93. I looked over weekend and OL was like 35 on soundtracks ITunes list so that performance gave a lot of play. I think U2 are crazy to wait until June for this album. They will lose so much momentum,
So rumor or album coming in April from Dallas to a fan on Monday to me is legit.

Thought that for a brief opening second, but the vocals are live, Edge is live (solo). Adam and Larry too, but there is a significant amount of pre-recorded stuff going on as well.

i thought the same ... there few details that show that there are some live stuff but sure there are some pre-recorded . Anyway i love it !
  10. just watched the show, nice performances, great to see them playing live again.
  11. I like Invisible better than OL but the performance of OL was way better last night. Great acoustic performance. Bono sounded amazing

To answer this question, no. They were the drumline from a local university in New Jersey called Rutgers. Fallon was saying the whole night how he wanted to represent New York on the new show, and this was just a bonus shout out for their friends across the river. I would be shocked if they appeared again next to the band at any performance.
