1. Bono was very relaxed on Jo Whiley show on Radio 2. Compare that with the interview with Zane Lowe about 5 months back where Bono was doing his travelling salesman bit, and Zane Lowe was not swallowing any of it. In fact Zane Lowe was more or less saying to Bono 'yeah right, your so full of shit'.

Message to Zane Lowe - Job done mate, U2 are back, just ask Jo Whiley.
  2. I really thought Songs of Experience would come out before Christmas, but now it feels like another wait of at least a year.
  3. ^ SOI isn't even out yet and you were expecting the next album 2 months after that? Don't worry, the band will keep us entertained with this album + 2 new songs + acoustic versions + promotion of the new album + start of a tour.

Yeah why not? They made it sound like that. Hoped they did a Green Day, just banging out albums.

This album is so good, I need more, now.

And then there is fellow Irishman Bono, with whom Neeson is developing a film. “We chat, or with him a lot of the time I just listen. He’s a wonderful man. He’s got an idea for a script which we’ve been working on for the past six years,” he says, going on to outline the story, which is inspired by the Irish showband phenomenon of the Seventies.

  6. Man that interview is so cool. Glad he's taking it in his stride, he really is a hero of mine as corny as that sounds.

  8. And a very nice one too - thanks, Sergio, for posting! Bono sounds happy and confident, he clearly thinks they've just put out a pretty good album - which they have.

Q: when will you be next in Germany?
A: ...we'll be back again with you next May...
    Q: next album?
A: I'm probably the least reliable member to ask this question... 60% of it is there

There will be a tour next year - of course. Album may have to wait another n years... though I'd say (hope!) it'll be out by 2016...
