1. Still debating a bit abour Volcano/LH but I think I agree with this. I'm so sad the general audience is never going to hear Crsytal Ballroom

  2. Oh that's interesting.

Regarding the Volcano/LH/CB discussion, I think Volcano sounds the least B-side ish of the three, which could explain why it was put on as a regular.
  3. I still love Volcano as the odd song in the middle of the album. It really does separate the sides of the album. The first five are "Safe" U2 songs and the last five are a little more "Experimental".
  4. I'm digging Lucifer's Hands a bit more than Crystal Ballroom but I also love Volcano.

While I love Crystal Ballroom, Iris is my favourite of SOI so I'm not sorry it was added

  6. I clicked the link just for the laughs, but there was a link on the page to another article that I thought was pretty interesting.

    http://www.newyorker.com/culture/cultural-comment/church-u2
It's an article titled "The Church of U2" and it talks about U2's career-long struggle with faith and how that has manifested itself in their music. Pretty good read actually.
  7. It seems U2 is on the cover of the next edition of Rolling Stone, coming out on November 6th. Perhaps more details about the tour? Because we all know the details about the album by now..

  8. Great cover And great to see the boys in the spotlight of the biggest magazine in the world once again!
