1. Funnily enough, I was just ONE CLICK AWAY to buy seats for that very same show I freaked out when I saw that pic this morning. I could have seen Noel sitting besides Bono or Edge - that simple thought is just mindblowing.

I wonder who's in the middle of them both by the way, they aren't sitting together. Ideas?
  2. not news, but don't know where else to post it, it's quite random:
I work at a big book store and had a customer today who came to me asking for any u2 related books saying "you know? the band?" - "err, yes... I know. let me see what we have in stock." - and she went on saying "yeah, they're kinda getting big now again, you know?" ... to top it off, when I showed her the tour book (360), she didn't even know what that was about. "360... what was that again?" oh, just the highest-grossing tour ever, but okay. they weren't "big" then, I guess.

    what was her age?

that anecdote greatness is inversely proportional to her age.

    (i.e. if she's young enough, then that's U2 reaching another generation )
  5. So I guess this happened during the show:

And this happened after the show, in the backstage:

I would say it's directly proportional. The older the woman was, the more ridiculous is not knowing who U2 were until now

Well, I said greatness, not hilariousness.

Anyway, she's around 50, so I feel free to laugh.
(Still, I find it interesting that someone who didn't care too much about U2 during the 360, is becoming aware of U2 right now)
  9. I was wondering about that, too, what with no new music videos and hardly any coverage here in germany since the "secret concert"...

To be fair though, nobody looks fit while sitting down.
