1. That's why it's even more hilarious that U2 announced their Apple partnership by telling all Apple users that receiving free music is the right thing to do. U2 starts the Apple takeover by confusing their consumer base.
  2. I'd say...last time we had such U2 silence when we really expected news we got the surprise album release. Before that it was Invisible. Seems to be Guy Oseary's MO - much different to McGuinness who made a lot of noise.

I'm not too worried about it. I hope Bono is doing fine. We know rehearsals are going on ...for all we know they could even be recording for the new album. I'm expecting a sudden surge of news once we're much closer to the date.
  3. didn't think the switch of managers would show this clearly. interesting.
  4. They weren't this secretive for previous releases and the one main element that changed was the manager...I could be wrong.
  5. You are quite possibly right
  6. I don't think I like al this silence.... it's tedious.
  7. But exciting. Remember the silence after the Invisible burst and during the summer... silence, no news, silence, no news, and them BOOM a new album.
  8. Just a feeling but for the first time in 25 years I don't have high hopes for the upcomming tour.

Yep, and there were rumors of Bono hitting a writer's block and such...turned out wrong.
  10. No he did have it. In fact the band struggled with feeling like they didn't have anything that creative or great - Source from the sessions and time with Ryan Tedder
  11. Why's this? Just curious as to why.
  12. I'm the opposite. For better or worse I've actually got high hopes. Huge demand for tickets to the shows I'm going to (despite what people may think, should have tried getting tickets to all the nyc and Boston shows - it was the worst I've experienced bar Glastonbury) and arenas in traditionally strong cities, performance andcrowd wise, for u2. Can't wait
