1. Bono's ideas on this are for the most part bad and the EU leaders are saying so. If an idea to resolve this means European citizens dying then i think most people say its ridiculous. And thats what they are saying with words and actions. Everybody is entitled to ideas no matter how unrealistic
  2. I hate the refugees and ISIS

Refugees fleeing for their lives and to protect their families are not the enemy here, as Bono made abundantly clear during the tour last year. The more the West perpetuates that kind of black-and-white narrative, the more ISIS wins. They can't believe that Muslims actually want to flee to the West instead of live under their self-proclaimed caliphate in Syria and Iraq!

Of course, I say this as an American, not a European. But God help us if Donald Trump (or Ted Cruz) gets elected to be our next president - carpet-bombing terrorists and their families and deporting all Muslims are not exactly the policies to undercut the ideology that ISIS feeds off of to recruit new members.

Seeing as how much of their lyrical content is about God, not so sure this is true (about it being grounded in reality). But very much agreed on the humanitarian stuff.

If you are a person of faith (and Bono most certainly is), God is about as real as it gets. Plus, Bono's faith is one of action, one that requires you to get into the world and get your hands dirty. If there's any doubt of that, just look at Please. There's a lot of literature and interviews out there in which Bono cites his faith as the core foundation of his humanitarian efforts.

  5. Bullet The Blue Sky/Zooropa/Streets must have been really hard to listen to this time around since that entire sequence is dedicated to the acceptance of refugees.
  6. Probably Adam just means being reunited with his instrument......

Tribeca just started and Edge is well known for going there like every year....

I bet not, music means different things to different people no matter what someone dedicates or says
