1. ^ Why is that news?
  2. It's been posted on U2's Vevo youtube channel.
  3. Errr... ok... There's a pro-shot recording of the entire Devore show available.
  4. Definitely struggling for any news.

  5. Yes sorry
  6. It's fine, I'm just saying this can be in another thread. By the way, Electric Co. also added to Vevo.
  7. wow, very interesting. this issue has always boggled my mind.... it still does. why go through such lengths to get these houses done? sadly, the article doesn't answer that... I've always hoped there's more to it than "he has the money, so he'll get his way no matter what". it must've cost a damn lot so far, as well as nerves, and caused a lot of critique on his character. he sure must have a good reason...

I read another article about this a few months back, and there were some venomous comments in the comment section from people who live nearby, all a bit sad to read really.

It looks beautiful looking at that 3d panorama thing, I suppose 'scenic' doesn't even cover it really. Imagine getting up to that view every morning.

I guess he and Morleigh must have fallen in love with the place and it's potential.

It makes me wonder, with it apparently having taken a bit of a toll on Edge personally and with the bitterness and resentment from locals it would seem, that it might be best to cut your losses and chase a new dream, afterall you wouldn't want to be living right amongst people with that kind of malaise towards you.

I hope it works out either way. Reggie deserves a nice sanctuary somewhere to keep him as creative as possible in the coming years.

exactly this I mean, I suppose I understand that after ALL the fighting they've gone through and the money they've put into this, they can't just... drop the whole matter. it cost them millions. on the other hand I wish they'd just... move on. though the article sounds like things are finally moving in edge's favour there at the end. hmm.
  10. This is one of the very few things a U2 member has done outside of music that I really disagree with. At the same time I think it's hilarious that other people living in massive houses on the coast are opposed to Edge's massive house because of "environmental concerns." It makes sense for someone like me who grew up in the suburbs (albeit also in a nice house) to oppose the general idea of building massive coastal properties, but these jokers are calling the kettle black in this case.
