1. I think this is interesting: current Bono explaining the story behind Bullet The Blue Sky.

What I want to know is the story behind the megaphone #OkNo
  2. Best part of the video:
"I saw a graffiti that said "fuck Jesus". I thought that was too harsh, but they said "no, that's Jesús (a very common Spanish name), he lives around the corner". Humor in desperate times.
  3. Great video!

Haha yeah that made me lol.
  5. Wow, really insightful video. I love that BTBS was based on something Bono himself had experienced, to a certain degree, not something he had heard about or seen on TV or read about in the paper. It was also cool to know the inspiration behind his use of biblical language in this particular context. Hearing insights like this makes me appreciate their songwriting process and somewhat understand why it takes them so long to release an album.
  6. From Bang Showbiz:
Meanwhile, Snow Patrol's next LP, which will be their first since 2011's 'Fallen Empires', will be released sometime next year as they are waiting to get into the studio with U2's producer to record it.

Gary said: ''It should be ready by the Autumn but it's too late to get it this year. It will be out next spring. It's ready go - we're ready to go, like a coiled spring.

''We've finished the writing of it and we're going to record it mid-July, our producer is working with U2 at the moment and once he's finalised then he'll come and work with us.''

My guess: Mixing July, Summer vacation August, Pre-release-work September.
    And then..,
    BAM!
  7. All I got was that Snow Patrol's next album will be out somewhere between 2019-2022, right?
  8. It's quite funny watching the CIA trying to create a hashtag for their U2 spy plane tweets.

Guys, if you really are that far cut off from the world, you might at least want to run a little twitter search before making a hashtag.

  10. That's actually a sweet album cover
  11. I could see this as their actual album cover if War were released by ZooTV era U2 and U2 spyplanes existed at the same time.
  12. Yellow lines from i+e (:
