    I am pretty sure they will be able to sell arenas, especially with a new album. So SOE being born means the album is ready. If that's true, it might be out in July or so - like Zooropa. Then third leg of I&E starting in September. Not impossible, but tight. And I'd have thought there'd be a longer time between the end of the studio sessions and the album coming out.
  2. They recently said they wanna tour so badly. Its not impossible. They sell out within minutes so 3 or 5 months who cares.
  3. My concern (about their concern) is obviously not about the ticket sales. They will sell out mostly any arena in a couple of minutes. It's more about what Julien said. I doubt they'd ever go on tour with less than 6 months of rehearsing the show, the visuals, the new songs, all the paraphernalia that surrounds their tours.
  4. Maybe they'll announce the new tour 24 hours before it starts. Go!

    And the usual rumors starting to mill about, which means the ever efficient U2 propaganda machine is starting to grease its wheels to get the buzz going. Now lets just wait for fan instagrams passing by Bono's beach house with new songs blasting. Then we know we're in countdown mode!

    We are still busting our ass to try to get it out this year. That’s our plan right now and exactly when, we’re not sure. Now a U2 album plan has been known to be revised (laughs). This is the working assumption. This is our ambition. It could change, but we’re really doing our best to get it out this year.
