I was lucky enough to be there that night and on May 7th . . . The Elvis bit is actually a funny story because Bono was scanning the crowd with his giant hand held spotlight at the time and in the crappy nosebleed seats behind the stage there was a guy dressed as Elvis jumping up and down which lead to Bono's remark
!! While it was a great version of Bad, it was very anti-climatic if you were there . . . We were all singing "how long" waiting for "40", and right after Bad the lights came up

It really didn't seem like the band meant for it to be the last song???I know a lot of people don't care for the show on the 7th, but since it was my first U2 concert ever and they played a similar setlist to the DVD shows I actually like it better than the 12th. I guess you had to be there, but the whole show on the 12th didn't really seem to flow . . . They were trying to play different songs and change it up since it was the 4th show in Chicago, but they really weren't sure of what was coming next . . . or at least that's how it seemed, but we were in GA standing right on the edge of the outside ellipse that night so I can't complain!!!
