Hmm, bar the hiss on the quieter bits, I think the sound isn't too bad personally. That said, I have a fairly high tolerance level for sound (apart from moronic audience members in the vicinity lol...)

That would be good, for sure

I mean, like I say, I can cope with it without my ears bleeding BUT an upgrade would be great.
  4. I thought it had a similair feel to it as the Zoo Tv adeliade show, a feel of emptyness when the music is still clear, similair to some of the other european vertigo shows.

For me, I quite like that, although I do want to hear the crowd too, don't get me wrong lol! I think that the crowd is audible in places where it kinda matters, e.g. in between Pride and Streets when you can hear the "oo-oohoh-oh" ringing around Hampden Park before everyone realises Streets is about kick in. Gives me the shivers, personally.

what bootleg did you think was better, last weeks Brisbane show with the overpowering crowd, or this one with the quieter feel. I never really got into the elevation IEM/soundboard bootlegs.

For sound, I prefer this one, but I won't deny that I liked the Brisbane show as a show in itself. I prefer to hear the band first before the audience (but I do want to hear the audience too, don't get me wrong), but that's just me. I prefer audience recordings to soundboard though, unless the soundboard is of the Red Rocks quality so you can get a feel for the show as a whole.

I can't stand earpiece recordings though...I hate hearing the click timer

imagine streets having a "1, 2, 3, 4" after a lead in from Bad, unthinkable. some of the better bootlegs are matrixs of audiance and soundboard, best of both

    Amen to that
  10. Brussels 87 is a damn near perfect audience recording and hearing both your preferences it would be worth downloading (not plugging it again z z but its just a great recording)

The version of WOWY you sent me was proof of that, definitely similar to Stockholm '92 as far as perfect audience recordings go .

I was planning on waiting for your BRT before I DL it, but in hindsight that's damn near a month away, so I may get cracking on that tomorrow.
