Oh, how I miss school work set over the summer...

    ...

    ...not

But before we get too off topic, I agree with Gerard that I did like the My Girl snippet, although I wouldn't go QUITE as far as he did with its praise...
  2. Should have my review up tomorrow, or later today should I say?

I did forget, then wondered why the hell I had Verona and couldn't recall, then I just remembered. Already listened once, will listen again whilst posting my review.
  3. So, you're saying I should probably listen to this show and write my review, huh?

Not overly favourable, but I'm giving it another listen...

I think you'll feel the same way.
  10. My review of:
    1993-07-02 - Verona, Italy - Stadio Bentegodi

    Sound

Sounds like its muffled (duh). At the end of Mysterious Ways, when the crowd screamed "Bono! Bono!", I looked out my window to see if Bono was outside lol (yes, seriously lol). However, no offense to Steve, because this must be an improvement to the original

    Performance

Nothing special. Bono's voice wasn't at its best for this show......... "Take me higher!"..... not its best. Hell, I think I did it better earlier today lol . However, I think things picked up after Bad. WOWY was great, as were most other ZOO performances of it. However, Love is Blindness could have been better. Oh, an I think that "Stand by me" rocked.

    Highlights

BTBS - The Edge was on fire

    Lowlights

    None worth mentioning

    Overall

    4/5
  11. Not really much for me to say about this show. Stock-standard ZooTV show. The sound was okay, but a little inconsistent for my tastes. Mostly it was pretty good, but it dipped and faded around a bit in the beginning which was annoying. All in all, a basic ZooTV show that isn't staying on my iPod or iTunes.

    Highlights
Until the End of the World
    Bullet the Blue Sky
    Transition from RTSS into Streets
Bono's guitar/added synth during "ISHFWILF"....a breath of fresh air into a song that really needed it.
Edge's guitar on Love is Blindness after the solo

    Lowlights
Pretty much everything else. Nothing blew me away with this show. Is it just me or did anyone else feel like the band was just going through the motions?

PS - Everytime I hear Larry sing "Dirty Ol' Town" I think he's going to hack up his tonsils on the stage. Take it easy, Larry boy....and stick with the drumming.
  12. Was that Edge singing the last half of Stand By Me?
