  3. The last "physical" CD I bought was over a year ago. It was (I'm so embarrassed) Chinese Democracy by GNR. It's really bad - and don't get me wrong, Appetite For Destruction is/was one amazing album.

    I'm not saying anything because I really enjoyed it - particularly Shackler's Revenge. Although the hype certainly didn't do much for it.

    Got me Alice Cooper's From The Inside this afternoon.




  6. I'm one of those asses that originally said "I listened to Heartbreak Warfare BEFORE it was on the radio *hmph*" And now, I just simply don't care that everyone loves it now- it is the most hurting yet relatable, simple yet well produced, brilliant songs since...a long time.

    Interesting note on that- on his Vh1 Storytellers (which was amazing!) he mentioned before Heartbreak Warfare that a lot of people are comparing it to "Bad" by U2...I tried singing the two over each other, and it really does work in many parts.

    "Clouds of sulfur in the air/Bombs are falling everywhere"

    fits perfectly over

    "So let it go..../And so to fade away"

    Neat little thing. Love both songs dearly, dearly, dearly.

    Also have bought a 3 doors down cd, but it's not that special What does rock is Foreigner's definitive collection


  8. The same here, mate! I ordered my first singles yesterday - If God Will Send His Angels, Get on Your Boots, Window in the Skies and Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses.
  9. Cool! Im going to order the Window In The Skies single as well, will check wild horses as well Still doubting about Stay, the 'live' version has great versions of LIB and BTBS but stil....

    WITS in the basket, you gotta love ebay. Spending money faster than I'm earning it at the moment

    oh you will love wild horses and window in the skies. I got them both of itunes for £1.99 each

    well in other news, my last purchased cd was In Your Honour by Foo Fighters.
