    LOL! Name me a politician who isn't these days... (NB - I know it isn't a generic characteristic of every politician the world over, but it could certainly apply to a lot of them - power corrupts, as they say...)

    Personally, I'm more left than I am right (although I'm not particularly politically motivated - I just can't stand any form of right wing politics, but that said I'm not mad about left wing-ism) - luckily though, I don't have to vote 'cause I'm not American! I can just watch or listen to more political rubbish, as if we didn't have enough already - it makes me laugh, the fact that it seems we get more coverage of the US elections than we do our own!

    And if Obama did play Beautiful Day at his speeches or anything else U2, kudos to the man!

    Yeah, I was actually being sarcastic but hey ho; who says he actually likes U2? Who says he actually chose to have it playing? If that were the case, who's to say that he didn't just choose it because he thought it would appeal to those he was trying to sway to his side? I don't think anyone's saying he actually likes U2, because no one knows - I think everyone's just rejoicing in the public broadcast of decent music...

    i'm not trying to take this off topic, for we havea politics topic, but i would suggest researching Obama before you start calling him an asshole he is what America needs right now
