    it should be:
"There is a place, here in this house, WHERE you can stay"

I've never been one to argue about things like this in art, but this one for some reason just gets me. That's basic grammar! Unless he's saying something else or the intended meaning is something different.

    Isn't it can't ?
  3. This album is really fantastic, can't stop listening to it.
  4. Awesome pic!

    Have to disagree with you.

Are you positive about that? I've taken a few english courses in university and I seem to remember them really pressing the proper use of "who" and "where" and all that jazz.
  6. I think the that isn't totally right, in the sense that it should be where or in which, (a place where/in which you can/can't stay), but I would accept it as right since it makes perfect sense and it sounds better in the verse than any of the former options.

I think where would've sounded fine.

To me when using "that" in a sentence like that "there is a place in this house that you can('t) stay" is implying that "place" is a thing rather than a location. Usually a place in a house is a location, not a thing. It would make more sense if it was "there was a place here in this house that you can stay IN", but the way it is isn't grammatically correct (as far as I know).
  8. Agree, That is a thing!
