1. Who knows, hopefully. I'm hoping that these short setlists are just for the promo tour though. I hope when the actual tour starts they start breaking out the 2 hour sets. I want to hear the entirety of the new album live, most of all Battle Born. As much as I know everyone loves When You Were Young, Battle Born is their best album closing song, and I think it would be their best live closing song. It's just fucking fantastic. One of their best 5 songs overall for sure.

Also I definitely remember seeing bits of Miss Atomic Bomb, Bling, For Reasons Unknown, Here With Me, and something else I think...

IMO Battle Born is easily the best song off the new album and I also think it would be even better than When You Were Young as a concert closer. Whole album on the tour would be great!

WYWY is just THE closer. Battle Born can easily be inserted between Jenny and WYWY, but WYWY should be closing each show until they quit. By the way, my video of it from last Saturday's concert:

  4. Killer vid. You got some pretty decent quality for being right up near the speakers!

As for WYWY, I still think it's time they changed it up. If there was one thing I noticed last night it was that I saw so many things that mirrored the Royal Albert Hall DVD. From the direction of the setlist to the little things Brandon would say before songs. It makes for a predictable show! They're starting to become U2 during the lovetown period, a jukebox of people's favourite songs. I think it's time to go on a tour that really pushes the new album, and to me part of that is taking out songs that used to be key parts of the set and either moving them somewhere or replacing them! On top of that, I know you'll hate me Sergio, I just think WYWY is an OK song compared to other Killers songs

    Yes, I do hate you.

Just kidding. Opinions are like sexual organs, each one has theirs and thinks it's the best out there. You're of course allowed to think that WYWY is weaker than other songs - in fact, I think it as well It's just that there's something incredibly epic about it, something you can't in fact put your finger on... Let's say it's some kind of Pride: an overplayed track, there are better songs in their catalogue (Streets, Bad, Ultraviolet, etc) but it's just epic, fantastic, legendary. Don't know if the comparison is the best one, but I think you get my point.

And YEAH, of course, I'm all for changing setlists and including more new songs - how could I not? Their setlists in general are very stale, and that fixed Ready My Mind/Mr. Brightside/All These Things/encore/Jenny/WYWY final part, although it works and rocks big time, must become really boring after 2 or 3 shows attended.

Anyway, let's hope for the start of the proper Battle Born tour and see what the boys deliver to us. Longer setlists mean more songs, and more songs mean more chances to shake things up!

PS. By the way, that Lovetown reference just reminded me our petition website... Holy shit, I had completely forgotten it with my major computer crash and all! I will start working on it again as soon as humanly possible!
  6. Fair points all around, and I agree with all of em'!

And funnily enough I was going to message you about it today!
  7. I think Brandon should challenge Chris Martin to a sweat-off.
  8. So far I think Flesh And Bone is my favorite.
  9. Bought the deluxe edition today. Was going to go for the regular one with the hard case (i'm not a huge fan of the thin cardboard cases) but the deluxe one has a booklet, can't go without that!
  10. I have yet to pick up my pre-ordered deluxe version, it's ready to be collected at the store since Monday morning... And yeah, I went for the deluxe edition just for the booklet
  11. Yeah, I don't really care about the b-sides/remix, from what I've heard they're just okay.
