2 more dates added Manchester and Birmingham I think
  4. I had to rely on my friend getting tickets but he couldn't get them. Glasgow show sold out in 15 minutes and no new date has been added for it. What a shame
  5. last time i checked there were still some tickets for the extra MEN date; i just need to find someone willing to come!
  6. The Killers are gonna be on Skavlan today, a Swedish/Norwegian talk show which is huge here. If they are gonna be interviewed they better be ready, because Fredrik Skavlan is one of the greatest you'll find at doing interviews.

Not that I care that much for The Killers myself, they sound overproduced.

    And U2 doesn't?
  8. Meh, I don't really have an issue with the degree to which music is "produced". Some people prefer a guy stamping his foot with an acoustic guitar, some people (like myself on occasion) prefer electronic music that makes prominent usage of samples, synth sounds, drum machines, etc. As long as the music makes you feel something, to me it doesn't really matter what goes into the sound.

And there are plenty of artists/bands that are just as produced if not more than The Killers! But I'm not trying to start an argument or anything!
  9. U2 do sound overproduced on HTDAAB and especially ATYCLB (which I mainly because of that, have as the worst U2 album since I find it hard to stand the sound of it). There are also a couple songs on NLOTH and Pop that I could probably call overproduced. U2 don't usually sound overproduced though.

Alex: To me there's a big different between a lot of production and something being overproduced. The first one can be awesome if it's done right and is fitting, but if the level of production is too much for the song and perhaps just bad too... Then it's not good and overproduced.

I love some records with a lot of production on them. A recent example is The Bravest Man In The Universe that for the most part sounds really cool (one song is a bit too much for me).
  10. so i have the best parents... they managed to bag some M.E.N. tickets; roll on november!

  11. That's awesome dude Congrats on having such amazing parents
