righto mate, considering it's my 18th b'day tomorrow, hopefully I'll get a bit of cash (I emphasise hopefully) and will seek to invest in more music, i.e. HAARP DVD & CD

I need to get new strings for my new Epiphone LP (which was a b'day present from all my aunts and uncles, and got it a few days early), because the ones that come on the guitar are shit, but that shouldn't cost much, and then it's music, cider and anything else that I can think of!
  4. way to go R.S. dig up the dino rock .I love Nirvana but to have them higher than the genious of the edge c'mon man . Where is the Fly ,where is UTEOTW, where is Gloria, or I will follow, or SBS. and what is up with prince at # 19 for purple rain, this song is every bit as good as while my guitar gently weeps. love the who but my generation . this song is bass and drums not a guitar song . way to go R.S. , way to piss me off this early in the morning
  5. Bon Jovi's 'Dry County' and Audioslave's 'Cochise' deserved a mention IMO.

and no way was Johnny B. Goode #1.

    but otherwise, nice list.
  6. I personally think SBS is U2s best guitar song. At least Dire Straits got some cred. Dead Or Alive by Bon Jovi should be on this list. Best use of a 12 string acoustic ever.

Exactly my point. I knew something was wrong. Then again, Rolling Stone always seems to have their heads up their arses...

true, I like Q more, I think it's better put together. Also less politics , Rolling Stone is so unbelievably liberal. I wouldn't mind if the politics were more biased but a consistent leftist slant is not what I want out of a music magazine. They've always got good stuff on U2 when they do something though.
  8. They need a few more songs by U2, The Who,*cough*Won't Get Fooled Again*cough* and please, give Zeppelin a few more songs. What's up with Smells Like Teen Spirit at Number 10? I like Nirvana, but that's a bit extreme.
Oh well. Can't always get what ya want.
  9. This shoulda made the list. Sweet slide guitar, and one of the songs that made the talkbox popular.
