  1. Pop is not radio friendly. That is the problem. But it is some of U2's best work.
  2. There's always room for Pop. Discotheque and Staring at the Sun (at the very minimum) would've worked just fine on the e-stage, but they just kept playing it safe with Elevation, Sweetest Thing, Desire, and Angel of Harlem.

    Staring At the Sun WAS MADE FOR the e-stage. Even the very Sting-esque acoustic version (which I like a lot, but just CANNOT compete with the album version) would've suited it quite well.

    That's the two I think will get a run out at some point in the future, outwith that there's always the possibility of maybe one surprise from the album, look at ultraviolet and zooropa on 360, not many would have predicted them.

    Hi btw! What a great album Pop is, my personal favorite is Please, but honestly I enjoy every song on it.

  8. Apparently the band also made a new version of Playboy Mansion around the Best of 90-00, but it wasn't released? Has anyone ever come across this before?

  11. I like this full band version of Staring At The Sun. The acoustic version is meh.
  12. While the album version of Please isn't the best version - it's still just excellent.

    I remember being about 15 and playing this song over and over on the bus ride to school, on foggy cool mornings, leaning my head against the window and watching the day start up outside to Please...
