'Course I did, everyone knows the San Siro and Hyde Park are virtually interchangeable - however, which show?

Anywho, moving on - who wants a laugh?

From a set of long awaited pics from a mate's b'day bash where we played a small set (4/5 songs were U2 - One, UTEOTW, The Fly and WOWY). Things of note - a) my Ridgewood Strat. in all it's unwarranted glory, b) on the first pic., you can see my beloved Zoom G1X multi-effects pedal and c) I think it's suffice to say that I'm definitely more in the Bono mould of rockstar than I am Edge, i.e., to quote him during the Sao Paulo show - "*points to himself* sweat; *points to Edge* no sweat!"
  2. Great pics!! It's always good to see one of our own out there doing it!

  3. I don't have a quality file of any of these songs, but the bass on The Fly and New Year's Day sounds quite clean to my ears. Vertigo seems to have some dirt on the interlude ("all of this, all of this could be yours..."), but again, I have none of these songs on CD.

  4. lol, thanks! I just remember seeing your pics from a recent gig or something, and figured I could save a post and just edit one on here . I was hoping there might have been a pic. of us playing WOWY where I used my mate's Epi. LP (tuned down a whole step lol...we had to play it in C 'cause he couldn't reach the high notes in D or Db...)
  5. Ok, I'm bored and have made use of the webcam that's built into my new laptop, and so I decided to take a picture of all my stuff guitar-wise for posterity. I say all, there's not that much but considering everyone else posts theirs, I thought I'd join the charade. The quality's not great, but it's good enough...

L -> R = Ridgewood Stratocaster, Yamaha amp., Zoom G1X effects pedal, Ridgewood semi-acoustic, Epiphone Les Paul Custom. Not much, but it keeps me off the streets causing mayhem...

Now you just need to switch the volume/tone knobs to the gold one's, like Edge's 1975

or black "witch hat" knobs, like his 1973.

Lest I forget, the gold pickup rings

...everyone say it together - EDGE USED / EDGE APPROVED.
  7. I tell ya, little things like knobs are inexpensive upgrades that can make a difference in the looks of a guitar and your attitude when you look at your guitar.

Hey Strat, I'll be out your way in a couple of weeks. My wife's going to be in a wedding at Calimingas Ranch. We're staying at her folks in SoPas.

  8. Sorry, I missed my cue...

  9. You forgot to mention the lengthy 12 year or so wait until the white finish fades to yellow/cream lol...

  10. Well, that goes without saying...

As in South Pasadena? You'll be close to my work. I work just off of Figueroa... off the 110 on the way to South Pasadena.

South Pasadena is might nice. Wish I could afford a house in Pasadena or S. Pasadena! (or CA in general!) Housing prices still suck.
