    That is a bit misleading. Death By Audio is the brand of the pedal but the article doesn't tell what MODEL pedal. Hopefully we will find out soon enough.

  2. They have a variety of types. I'm wondering which of the (8) models he's using... or did he get all Edge-like and get one of each!

  3. I listened to the Fuzz samples, and if I'm honest, I wasn't keen on it. However, knowing Edge, he's probably slapped 35 different pedals together complete with his own tweaks to get something completely unique and will subsequently blow us away with a trademark riff.

    We wait with baited breath.

    EDIT - not to mention that he'll have run it through a special amp. and been playing on a Dallas-tampered guitar, so it'll no doubt sound doubly incredible lol...

    Hi,

    Thanks for writing. The Edge bought all of our pedals a few months ago. I don't know which one he's referring to. I believe I read in another interview that the former guitarist from Secret Machines turned him on to us. I know that guy uses an Interstellar Overdriver w/ Master Volume. But for all I know he's using the Harmonic Transformer. Sorry I can't be of more help.

    I can almost hear the conversation:

    Edge: Dallas, I saw Secret Machines last night. The guy had some nice distortions by Death By Audio.

    Dallas: Which shall I ord... (cuts himself off)... I should just get one of each, right?

    Out of interest, dunno how hot you are on Chris Rea, but I've always associated him with Fenders etc. until I found a pic of him playing what I'm guessing to be an LP of sorts, just wondering whether you'd be able to deduce anything further?

  10. It's not a Les Paul. That I am pretty certain. I will see if I can figure out what guitar that could be.
  11. It's not a LP indeed, but it seems to be a Gibson... I swear I saw that guitar some AC/DC video, maybe that could help for the searching...

    Indeed, there is something Gibson about it. Looks like a bit of research is in order...
