  3. I picked up my Epi Explorer plus a explorer rock bag for £260
    Its the best money ive ever spent EVER
    before that i had a really amitation goth guitar (good to learn on but completely embarrassing to look at) - having a guitar i actually like has made me play so much more, and ive improved alot over the past few months, so its defo worth the money!
    A BOSS DD3 has also been bought this summer

What would be of more interest would be to know a bit more about Maranello, just 'cause I'm a bit bored lol - do they copy traditional designs but change them so they look slightly different? Or would it be fairer to say that they're as much a genuine company with original designs as are Gibson, Fender, Gretsch etc.??

  7. Haha, everyone should own a DD3, its a great piece of gear!shop around though! i got mine for £60 on ebay, they retail from £90-120 x

  8. When I finally get a bit of decent cash floating around, I'm going to be investing in more than just a DD3 and an Explorer lol...but that ain't gonna happen for a while thogh. I wonder what incarnation of U2start we'd be on by then? 17.8?

  10. Ha, I've been a student in waiting for the last couple of years, but now Uni.'s just around the corner, I'm gonna be in the same boat...depressing whilst simultaneously good lol. Amps are not quite a priority, ;cause my poxy little Yamaha isn't too shabby (sure, you put it up agaisnt a Marshall and you're stuffed, as I've found at various jams with friends over the years) but I don't often have it turned up over 2-3 'cause of the family, so I'm more focusing on the sounds I can get out of the amp rather than how big it is

    Yeah i know what you mean, In a dreamland id go and get a new amp, but my Fender frontman does the job at the minute. when i get my degree and start earning (or rob a music shop) ill have one!
