    I think that George is humbucker and John is single. Does anyone know about this?

    The vintage Rics that the Beatles used had the low gain single coils. ("toaster tops").

    No worries. I got what you meant. I just figured it'd be a bit cliche' to have worn a # shirt, like I did last time or a U2 shirt.

    And even the # shirt, last time I played, was not by design - just happened to be the shirt I had on.

    Edge used Country Gents on Do You Feel Loved, Please, One and perhaps a few others during PopMart. I don't recall seeing any Gretsch CG's or other Gretsch's on Elevation... Wouldn't mind seeing them on the next tour. Great fun - those.

    Nice bass Adam! Sweet gold sparkle finish... Looks like Adam order himself up a lil something special from the Fender Custom Shop.

  12. I have to admit that I'm not into sparkle designs at all. Neither silver sparkle drums nor gold sparkle bass guitars.

    If someone gave me a green sparkle Gretsch I'd probably reconsider...
