Are you crazy? beaten up guitars look much better than brand new ones. For me that is.
  2. It looks fine. No damage at all. I wouldn't say I like beaten up guitars haha. They have to have a certain look to them. Like the new Road Worn strats are beautiful. I love the look of the sunburst one. However, I picked one up in the store and I hated the feel of it. I didn't like it at all. But anyway, I like hte look of a finish wearing off, but not like dented and scratched up and stuff.

Thanks for the opinion on the price Alex.

Well I'm called Sergio but I'll accept it
  4. That's a matter of taste, mate Depending on the guitar, a bit of this-has-been-heavily-used aspect is really good, but I would never buy a cracked, scratched and beaten up guitar.
  5. My bad Sergio!!! I actually know your name (real name, according to your username), i was just half asleep hahah, sorry dude. How's the Gibson treating you? You still playing it or did your grandpa or whatever take it back? lol.
  6. Gear notes from seeing the Get On Your Boots video this morning...

Looks like Adam is using an Epiphone Rivoli (which he's mentioned in interviews as being used in the studio before) or perhaps it's a Gibson EB-2.

Looks like Larry is using the silver sparkle kit used at the Lincoln Memorial gig.

Edge is doing that 'Edge thang' with his Gibson LP Custom. Looks like there is a Marshall, Fender and fawn covered Vox AC30 amp there.

Cool video. Like the song more and more. (And I liked it already!)

It's an Epi, I've seen the brand in some part of the videoclip

Exactly the same here. Very amen
  8. I'm sure I've seen the classical Epiphone "€" on the head of the bass

I dont know about interviews or quotes. I just now that bass kicks my ass everytime
  9. It looks pretty great. Looking forward to his feature in Bass Player (assuming they do one, they have the last two album cycles) to hear a bit about what was used, his sparkle Fender Jazz, the burgundy mist Fender Jazz used in the U2.com vids/presumeably on album cuts...

    Should be cool.
  10. It looks PRETTY

  11. adam's bass totally made me go 'heeey, look at that!' - really cool and different-looking from the ones he used before me likes.
