Near the end of the video, you see Edge playing the 1996 white Fender 40th Anniversary Telecaster and then hand it off to Dallas. (that take possibly on the album) - about 2:26 into the video.

And remember that the same guitar, while not used for "Walk On" on stage, did appear in the video for that song.

So I stick with my initial 'theory' that the Telecaster has become a guitar of favor for the 2000's

Ah yeah I didn't mean that you say it's the only guitar lol and I know where you're coming from, but I wonder whether it's just a similar to what I had when we saw a couple of screenshots from Rolling Stone and the vid. for "I Believe In Father Christmas" in that maybe he was getting all Rickenbacker on us, but the thing is we can't be sure because we haven't seen all 2-3 years of production and rehearsals - for all we know, he could be turning to...*thinks*...something like the Casino first and foremost, or primarily sticking with something like the Explorer for recording material. We just can't be certain lol

  2. Yes, it was in the church. But it's a rented room, not an ancient church building. This is a pic from a service last year:

  3. Still can't watch it, I don't have QuickTime. Dammit! Jeff, have you got the COMPLETE link available? 'Cause I think part of the problem with the one you posted is that it's abbreviated (and perhaps try posting it with the Invalid url 'http:// html jargon).'
  4. It's a streaming QT file. Worked fine but ended right in the middle of Edge's "Elevation" bit.

    Ahh, I see.

At first I was picturing a bunch of guys rocking out, then a loud motorcycle come roaring into an old church building lol.
  6. At least the Edge isn't embarassed or anything about the fact that some of his riffs sound like crap without effects. It's good that he realizes that, and that he doesn't care. I sure don't, his riffs are fucking awesome and they deserve more respect from those twats who say "all edge is, is effects"
