1. The Edge practicing up for a stint on Hee-Haw?

    Perhaps it was the Ovation MM68 Mandolin used for for "White As Snow", such as in the piccy above?

    Maybe Larry will step out front for a bit of a 'strummy, strum, strum'?

    Just my two cents. I'm not a pro so you can't expect much more from me
  4. Courtesy of yeah;

    Jeff! Any ideas? I'm thinking it's some kinda Fender jobby.
  5. Apparently he uses the basses randomly. He doesn't have the right bass for the right song like Edge does with his guitars...I find it kinda odd...to use any bass for any song you feel like. But the man knows his job better than me.
  6. Perhaps he, like The Edge does, is experimenting with his gear. Hence, new amps and new bass guitars.

    I guess it is all how you look at it. And I see it as good that Adam is 'engaged' with his gear and trying new things.

  7. Not sure what your question was. What it about the bass? Your picture doesn't seem to be appearing from the link.

  8. Yeah sorry I meant the bass he's playing lol

    I copied the link from a post by yeah in the main Echo Awards article, but it's coming up fine here...

    EDIT - ok, now it's not
  9. I'm sure it's the same bass as he used on that xmas song video.I prefered the sound of the Precision over the two Epiphones he's used so far.

    The Epiphone Rivoili bass guitars are great but the sound is a bit more 'round'. Think "A Man And A Woman", which Adam used an Epi Rivoli.

    I agree that something more agressive, like the P-Bass works better for Boots

The party was held in one of our network churches, and they have a fully equipped stage with PA, monitors, lights, drumkit and keyboard there. I brought my Squier Deluxe Strat, my Behringer AC112 and my Ibanez Fat Cat pedal. We decided I should do vocals, too. The pastor played keys, another friend played drums, but the bass player didn't come... well, however, it was great fun. During the second chorus another friend drove his motorcycle into the hall, and the woman whose birthday it was jumped on the backseat and had herself driven twice through the room while we kept rocking. I love our church network.

    Somebody youtubed a part of it:

    The sound quality is awful. Enjoy!
