Maybe they'll do what I've seen sometimes and store all the amps and equipment backstage (understage in their case I guess) and use the wireless hookups. Brad Paisley and the Stones have done similar things I know.

All of the amps are mic'ed and most of what you hear will be through the PA. While Edge has had 5 amps on-stage (Vertigo tour) there were more BEHIND those amps that are isolated, mic'ed and go straight to Joe O'Herilihy for mixing.
Any stage movement would probably be done between songs so there wouldn't be much of a doppler effect.
