  1. I'm pretty sure on the ZooTV tour, and perhaps the Popmart tour, i haven't checked, it was half a step down with the capo on the third. But during elevation, (and probably vertigo tours) it was standard tuning with a capo on third.

    Yep - Elevaton and Vertigo were in standard (E) tuning.
  3. OK, thanks Alex and Jeff. As I supposed, Zoo TV had a flat E tuning. Thanks a lot


  4. I will have to double-check but I do think that ZOO tours and POPMART were E-flat. (Capoed and the 3rd fret)

    Seems that more and more things that were in E-flat have gotten moved to standard E tuning. Mysterious Ways during Vertigo being a prime example.

    As the POG 2 has pre-sets, perhaps we will see one or more in The Edge's gear for the U2:360 tour?

    ...ipretty sure that there is the Les Paul Music Rising. You can tell by the finish and the wood truss rod cover.

  12. Anyone catch Glastonbury coverage? Some interesting stuff doing the rounds these days...

    ...caught a bit of Jack White's band Dead Weather (I couldn't sing and drum like he does lol, then again I'm not a drummer...), very funky (interesting collection of guitars doing the rounds); was impressed with Doves and White Lies (who put together a pretty cool cover of Dancing In The Dark - can't wait to see The Boss play on Sunday!); there seems to be a thing about Telecasters these days though, most of the musical world seems to be playing them....
