Cool. It seems most of the new songs are on the Casino, or a Gretsch. He switch the WOWY guitar? Hes switched what he's used on it for almost every tour, although the switch to the retrorocket was by nesciety I belive.

He's still using a Fernandes, dunno if it's the same as the last couple of tours - easier to use a sustainer pick-up that shove an eBow onto the Les Paul or rig up the original Squier Infinite guitar conversion, safer too lol.

If I recall right, he used a decade for Popmart, switched to al elite for the Elevation Tour, and then went to the Retrorocket, since the studio flood, killed the Elite.

Pretty sure it's the RetroRocket still. I think you're right re. Elevation and PopMart, but I'm fairly sure he's retained the RR for this tour
  5. I'm going to buy my first guitar this weekend probally. My friend Nick has an electric acoustic, that had its electric hardware trashed, when he trusted it to railroad baggage services. It still plays fine acoustic though. He's willing to sell it to me for about 30 bucks. I hope I can rely on you guys for pointers. My main proplemn is I'm bad at remembering which chord is which. I know chords, just cant tell them apart.

From my experience it'll come with time, but yeah if I can be of any help I'll be be happy to
  7. Yes, Aaron, making a chord is not that hard, the hardest part is remembering its name haha I'm sure you'll make it soon, guitar-playing is an awesome world and soon you'll be hooked. I'm sure

Haven't gotten the guitar yet, I will post here as soon as I do. In all fairness, I cant read music anyway. Every instrument I have ever played, I did by ear. Surprisingly lots of great guitar players have done that, including my hero, the late Stevie Ray Vaughn.

New Les Paul ladels'n'gentlespoons - perhaps the new axe for UTEOTW or Elevation? Unlikely on the latter, but perhaps the former? Looks damned sexiful though :M

  10. Where? Looks like his explorer, a tele, one of his cream les pauls (apparently he bought the number 1 LP back?) and his goldtop...

  11. Sure that's his goldtop? Looks like a far deeper colour to me...that's the one I was getting at though
  12. Shold be buying my six string this weekend if all goes right.
