My friend Nick has an electric acoustic, that had its electric hardware trashed, when he trusted it to railroad baggage services. It still plays fine acoustic though. He's willing to sell it to me for about 30 bucks. I hope I can rely on you guys for pointers. My main proplemn is I'm bad at remembering which chord is which. I know chords, just cant tell them apart.

Haven't gotten the guitar yet, I will post here as soon as I do. In all fairness, I cant read music anyway. Every instrument I have ever played, I did by ear. Surprisingly lots of great guitar players have done that, including my hero, the late Stevie Ray Vaughn.

I can read music, but I rarely do (I'm an ear-trained kinda fella too), so let's call it three of us
