1. Thank you. Just a labor of love. Love the band. Love the music. Love all them wonderful drums, amps bass guitars, guitars and effects.

Cool to see that Adam's completely re-thought what he's using live and expanding his 'sonic horizons'.

  2. My gold plated pickup guards have a sort of oily patina on them, what can I use to get it off without damaging the plating? Would soap and water work?

  3. Not really, i mean he got a few new pedals from Death By Audio, but most of his sounds are very similar to last tour and the elevation tour sounds. Pride hasn't changed it's tone since Zoo or Pop pretty much.

I respectfully disagree. He redoes that rack every tour. He adds different effects each tour. He's employeed different guitars each tour.

  5. Really? His rack looks pretty much the same to me. He's even kept the vertigo tour design on it. He's added effects, but for new songs, I don't think he rethinks TOO many of the old songs. I can think of the vertigo intro and the UV verses, and maybe SBS, but he's already done the strat before. At the moment that's all that comes to mind. As for guitars, which ones has he added? He's using vertigo tour guitars still. The Casino, The Retro Rocket, the Country Gentlemen, The tele's, les paul, strat. Also the acoustic and stuff. Basically the only guitar he's added is the Gretsch Anniversary for Moment of Surrender. I'm not saying I don't enjoy the music for these reasons, I just think it's too much to say he's changed his gear that much between tours. He hasn't really.

  6. Alex spoke my mind (both times).

I didn't understand much what you said, but maybe the thing is that you don't need to remove it... Don't know, huh...

  8. They have this sort of dark stain on them, it looks like an oil stain but it's dry.
I don't know what it is, but I want to remove it without rubbing off the gold plating.

Oh yes, if it is dry you should remove it, it won't do any good (and looks very bad for sure)... A soft damp coth and a bit of soap (or any grease/oil remover) will do it.
