Well even an AC30 can be a bit pricey. But it is SO worth the money!

Originally posted by vanquish:Question: Which way do you push the pickup selector on my Epi Explorer to get the treble pickup, It doesn't say in my manual and im not 100% sure. You flick away from the bridge right?
Also what does the Tone control do? Should I turn it fully clockwise or anticlockwise when i'm sending a signal to the M13?

Just play your guitar and mess around with the knobs and see for yourself what they do, it's not rocket science. Use something metallic and tap the pickups when it's plugged in if you can't tell by ear which one is on. From all your posts, it sounds like you're almost afraid to play around with your own guitar and equipment. FYI, you can play with your M13 with your tone knob on either 10 or 0. But on 0 it will be all muddy with no treble.

It just takes so long to fiddle with all the settings, cos I have to put my guitar down (I usually sit and play cos I can't see the frets if I stand) and then walk over to the amp and adjust the knobs there.
But I did play figure out how to select the treble pickup. It's strange that the tone knob actually gives you a purer sound the more you turn it up (seems counterintuitive, you would think keeping it on 0 would give you the unaltered tone).

Actually, all the tone knob does it to cut some of the treble. If you leave it on 10, it is like if it didn't exist, the signal goes "integral" to the amp (or to your processor or whatever is after the guitar on your chain).

I know the s/ usually means slide up but on this tab (it's TTTYAATW) does it mean hammer on? As it sounds weird sliding over the 13th fret, and how do u slide up from 14 to 12?like it says in the end

Slide up faster.
