    I use it all the time- there's a chart on there somewhere mapping out all of the delay settings- down to the ms- he uses for (most) of U2's songs using delay. It also distinguishes between songs with 1 delay setting vs. 2 delay settings.



  2. Yea thanks, I know that site, it's great but needs a bit of an update. Much of their newer stuff is missing.
    I am learning Magnificent atm, anyone know what delays/ other fx he uses there?

    i posted sumthing a while ago which had the Magnificent delays. theres 2 of em running in parallel.

    MODULATION: have it set on delay, rate/key = 390ms, depth/harmony= 50, E.level/resonance = 80

    DELAY: have it set on modulation, time= 290ms, feedback = 43, e.level = 80
  5. i bought the Vox VT30 amp yesterday aswell, got it home and realised.... ITS GOT A PRE-SET PRIDE(in the name of love) effect setting
    LOVE IT


  6. I remember a number of folks on various forums mentioning that there is a lot of stuff on that Amnesta site that isn't so correct.

    I haven't looked at it in awhile but the last time that I did, I had to agree with the posts that I'd read.
  7. Question for the veterans. I'm putting together my board, essentially it will have these pedals:
    Korg Pitch Black Tuner
    Maxon CP101 Compressor
    Dunlop 535q wah
    Ibanez TS-9
    Line 6 Verbzilla (not for U2 shimmer....)
    Boss DD-20
    MXR Smart Gate (cuts out the single coil hum)

    Do I need a buffer? Keep hearing about how I should get a buffer for my board.

    BTW: Powering it with a Modtone PowerPlant

  9. I just play the chords with distortion and tons of phase. Sounds about right to me... anyone else?

  11. The main three chords are G, C and E. I haven't listened in a while, so I might be missing a part.
    (the main riff is G, C)


  12. Korg A3 with SPC-01 card. That tone and many from AB and ZOOROPA are the A3.

    Although one could try with other units, using a flanger... but the A3 is what Edge used.

    Chords are power chords... If Memory serves: G5, C5 and E5
