Check to see if the other strings are all in tune also (i'm sure you've done this), if they are, it could be the intonation. Play an open G, and tune it to when it says it's in tune on the M13, then play the G string on the 12th fret, which is the same note, just an octave higher. If it says it's out of tune, than the intonation is off. If it says it's in tune, then I don't know what's up lol. Could be your ears playing tricks on you, could be a dead string (shouldn't effect tune though), but yeah. that's weird.
Yeah, I checked all that, all the other strings are fine, and the intonation on the G string is only very slightly off.
However the bridge saddle for the G string (and only the G-string) is nearly all the way back and can't be turned much more, so maybe it has something to do with that. Also part of the wound string is sticking out of the string cover, i'll try and take a pic of it.
My brother says it's normal, but i'm not quite sure, I was trying to record it using my phone but the recording isn't clear enough.
It seems almost like the string sounds correctly and then the trail off has almost like a buzz or vibrato aspect to it.
