Your talking about a totally different model.The Starbass is a hollowbody.

John Entwistle of The Who used Buzzards and Strykers.

Adam bought one of each - both black. Both seen in the U2.com videos that were posted near the end of the NLOTH sessions.

As the tour drew closer, Adam went to Warwick and worked with them on developing the Reverso. Which is why there were various versions on the tour. Ultimately setting on a single pickup version that is the production model.

Do you need a Warwick Reverso to sound like Adam? NO. You can do much of what Adam does on a Precision and Jazz bass.

I don't think one HAS to have a Mercedes or BMW. They are fine cars but do you HAVE to have one? No. But if you like it and can afford it - why not. Same with the Reverso. Nothing wrong with buying it if you want and have the means to do so?

Right now, I'm only 18 (soon 19) and still living with my parents, using my part time job money to do what I want with. Right now I'm saving up for a John Mayer strat, so I geuss it's the same idea. Even probably dumber actually, seeing as how I already have an american strat, but there are reasons why both would be handy, and why I'm buying the John Mayer strat.

BEFORE buying the JOHN MAYER Stratocaster... Check out the ERIC JOHNSON Stratocaster. They Mayer may be fine. But you might find the Eric Johnson that much better.
