Yes, U2station has a great database of chords and tabs, I discovered it only some months ago, around september or so... Of course I still write my own tabs and try to play everything by ear, but tabs and chords are helpful when you get stuck

Useful resource for sure. Keeping in mind that they are not professionally done. Some are blatantly wrong. But they are a good starting place.

What, really?

You guys are strange, I was using the U2station tab archive ages ago, even before I got my guitar!
(to play songs on my iPhone guitar app, lol).

Also, does anyone know what the opening chords of Streets are (the ones played on organ/synthesiser)

Don't know much about organ chords but with a quick guitar check that were the chords that sounded about right.

PS. I've just remembered - I discovered the U2station site in May of last year when I was unable to play by ear some of the chords and arpegios on Cedars Of Lebanon.

From the Milan version of AIWIY what is edge playing from 2.00min to 2.50 min, thats the only bit im really stuck on.

By ear I (using an online tuner)

By ear II (using an already tuned EBGDAE guitar)
Play the sixth fret of your fifth string and tune your low E string to match the fretted note. When in tune your sixth string should be one octave lower then the sixth fret of the fifth string. Once your low E string is in tune, continue to tune your guitar in the classic standard tuning way. Here is a quick refresher on standard tuning. Fret the fifth string of your low E and match the open 5th string of your guitar to the fretted note. Continue this process up each new string. The only exception to this rule in standard tuning is the B string. To tune the B string, you fret the fourth string of the prior string instead of the fifth.

Grotty and scraffy (but useful and quick)
Put a capo on the first fret (just pulling slightly the strings, without buzz but also without a lot of tension). Then tune the guitar normally (to EBGDAE). And then take the capo off... Vòila!! Your guitar is now tuned in Eb Bb Gb Db Ab Eb.
