    I have no experience with them, but be aware that they have noise supressor built in, so if you like feedbacks you may be disappointed. I have also heard that they are not as loyal to the sound of the guitar as a good cable is, because the noise supression system cuts some frequencies. I imagine that it would bother only people with very good ears for details, but you could be one of these people.

  3. Yeah I've heard wireless systems are no good unless you really pay a lot for them. I know the system Edge uses is super expensive (I checked it out sometime) and you can probably tell even he doesn't lkike using them too often because of the bit of sound loss he probably still gets. He still uses cables mostly in live shows.
  4. Thanks for the feedback guys. One reason why I'm still interested in trying it is the fact that it cost only a little bit more than a really long cable. As for the feedback, that would be a plus for me. I hate any feedback, so the suppressor sounds great. As for tone loss... most of my tone comes from the effect processor, so I'm not too worried about that. Even if it is lost from the guitar, I could just add the humbucker effect thing on the effect processor for my Epiphone (the only guitar that I own with a descent sound).

    Well, I had a look into the Line 6 M13, and it looks like this really would be a great addition to my sound!! So, thanks for the tip, since I already have a Boss ME-50, I might as well try a different brand.

    Though, I have some questions for you all.

    First, I found that a lot of people on the internet talk about Edge's shimmer effect.
    What does this exactly mean, and in which song can I hear this best?

    Next, does anyone have any experience with the POG or MICRO POG??

    And, last, does the Line 6 M13 give me the chance to save sounds and use them later...like the Boss boxes do?

  8. hi guys, is there any point owning a line 6 M13 and a boss ME-70 or r they just gona do the same stuff?? i have the me 70 and i have the urge to splurge on sumthing new. what else is there.

    I've found the M13 to be the best, particularly for U2 songs, when it comes to the portable multi-effect pedalboards.

  12. Not necessarily. I used to own a tonelab and I loved that too, it was also great for u2 tones. Most fx units can get the job done (to an extent), Edge's sound basically consists of a light compression, a low amount of overdrive, and delay. Sure you can be a purist and add on a bunch ofthings, as well as specific gear that gets his TRUE sound, but in the end, if you want Edge's signature tone you only need those three things.
