    And ask your Grandfather what the smaller switches do. Again, I don't think they are factory issue, which might hurt the value of the guitar but if it sounds and plays great... then that is all that really matters.

    After all Andy Summers (the Police) Tele was bought with LOADS of aftermarket work and because HE played it... it's worth tons! (As are the Fender reissues of his Tele)

    And like I said, if you send me the serial number, on the back of the headstock, I can tell you yet MORE about your lovely Artisan.

    Very indeed Moreover, it looks pretty similar to Bono's Joshua Gibson ES-335 (that gorgeous red guitar). I mean it's virtually the same guitar with different brand

  2. Hofner made lots of copies of US guitars. As has Tokai from Japan.

    Lovely guitar, it sounds really great... Moreover, I thought I had never played a Les Paul Now I can say that I almost OWN a Les Paul

    Ha, between the Artisan and the Hofner, that IS a tough call. You m'man, are a lucky bastard lol. Value-wise, there's no doubt a big difference BUT they both look fantastic.

    PS. I'm uploading some audio clips which I played a few ago. Some of them were played with the Artisan, some were not... But they all were played by me

    I want to do WGRYWH but I need to piss about with the backing track I have so that I can create space for the Vertigo style solo. The Fly, WOWY and something else - anyone know of a BT for One Tree Hill?

  10. Hey Scotto, you'll dig this! I found these pics on the Lakland website. They probably give the most insight into Adam's sound and effect/guitar usage on specific songs. I would say that these pics give us more than the info from the two interviews that keep getting reposted everywhere.

    I love Adam's "idiot proof" setlist complete with color coding for his basses and what effects are to be used.



    Apparently nicknames help too. Note the designated switch for the bass Edge uses on "40"



    Again the bass Edge uses on "40" gets special labeling



    The tech bench for the "Poshest member of U2" complete with espresso machine.
