  2. Me neither, until yesterday morning. I was browsing eBay Spain for some hot deals and I saw this one... "Hmm. Alder?? I don't know that brand"... I googled it and some important members of known spanish forums said that they're great guitars for such low prices, they're made in Japan and Korea and they sond terrificly good, they say. I will try it on Tuesday next week, if I like it I will get it. Bargain!!!

    That's a great looking guitar, and although it's not a famous brand name, sometimes you get lucky coming across gems like that and can have a sound/tone all to yourself, because everyone else is too afraid if it doesn't say "Fender", "Epiphone", "Gibson", etc, etc,....
  4. Sound is all about taste, but when we are talking about the construction of the instrument, there are literally thousands of brands that make products that are superior to Fender, Gibson, etc...
  5. I com-ple-te-ly love this guitar, damn, it's probably my favorite guitar of the Edge (in the "looking" aspoect, I mean).

  6. Looks-wise, for me it's still either his original Explorer or the 'Blackie' Strat. - those guitars ARE the Edge.

    Really? That's pretty interesting...I wonder if Dallas went with him to pick one out, (not sure how much Bono knows about guitars ) Is Bono becoming The Boss? BRING BACK THE RED 335!!!!


  9. Yes yes of course, they're much more representative of The Edge style and career! I'll give you that any day. But I meant the guitar alone, on its own.... not many guitars look better than that cherry Gretsch, Harry, you can't deny that


    I don't have heard anything about that Tele thing but I wouldn't be surprised. Bono loves guitars, he has told it several times. If only he knew how to play them..........

  11. I always joke about that, although I know perfectly he isn't that bad. He can play virtually everything he needs/wants to, better than most of the people think.

  12. My favorite of Edge's guitars is one of his least used.. the MirrorBall Les Paul.

    As for Bono's possible guitar purchasing... cool. He has quite a few guitars, I wonder why he only uses his "The Goal is Soul" Gretsch nowadays. It's cool, but it would be nice to see him flaunt his wealth at least.
