A lot of the guys on U2soundforum have even switched from M13, or even their Axe-FX rigs, or pedal boards, to this unit. It seems to suit their needs better than anything at the moment.

HD 500 is pretty great. And you can download the softward to edit tones on your computer instead of merely twiddling the knobs on the HD 500 itself (Much like you can do with the Axe FX.
Overall, the Axe is FAR more versatile. BUT for $500.00, it is a great "Edge starter kit".
