1. So a quarter note is a crotchet and an 8th is quaver and dotted 8th is a dotted quaver If they said that at the start I'd be ok lol

And thanks for that compression link
  2. Compression makes your quiet notes loud and your loud notes quiet. So you will have more or less the same volume for every note that you play. Very useful, especially for bass and drums, guitar not as much, but can be good if you know where to put it.
  3. anyone know during Stingray Guitar if edge is just playing the main riff on the top string only (open and on 3rd fret) or if he is playing it on the top 3 strings like this
    ----2-------------5------
    ----2-------------5------
    ----0-------------3------

ive watched a few clips on utube and i cant really tell by looking at his hand
  4. I'd say he just plays the E string. At least that's how I play it, and it sounds right.

Yeh I think it's only the E string, just with heavy distortion. Definitely doesn't look like power chords anyway
  6. Holy shit, just got Streets pretty damn right I think.. Wow
  7. Ply, record, share.

  8. I will.. Once I've perfected it I have the main riff, just tweaking things in the middle needs to be done The USB on the Boss is cool too, it comes bundled with a recording suite and all
  9. I'm glad you're perfecting your skills with your plane pedal board, I'm doing the same with the Boss delay pedal. Hard to put things right on this one...

What's with the plane? Don't get that Do you mean plain or plane? As in airplane?
  11. Exact. In Spanish, when a gizmo or machine is big and very useful AND complicated to use (like an airplane), there's a common slang term which is "This X is a plane!!".

Oh, I've never heard that phrase before. So you're saying.. It's not plane? Cos you struck it out? I
