1. Anyone know what he uses the Synth Wah for?
  2. Here's the video for the screencap above. Not sure fo the guitar. I talked to one of Daniel Lanois' assistants... he said it's a Gretsch. Although, the headstock looks like a Gibson to me. More research...

Ebow part being played seems to be from "Breathe".

  3. Wrote myself a 90 minute setlist of covers this morning- rock n' roll was a great way to start my morning. Played all the way straight through along with the songs on my iPod, and all I can say is that new callouses are such a joy.

    =O)

Good to get the calluses built up and play for hours.
  5. And now Edge has two blue ones...

If you zoom in on The Edge's amps, you will notice that the main Vox (top) has two Vox Blue speakers now.

Used to be a Silver / Blue combination, like in the picture below.

Viewing from behind the amp, it used to have a silver on the left and a blue. (Pictured below) I guess the silver speaker went bad.

  6. Yeah saw that this morning. Pretty interesting to say the least.
  7. Anyone hear Capetown recording yet? Is it just me or does COBL sound like it's played in a higher key?
  8. Matt mentioned that earlier to me, indeed it was played at in original tuning (half step higher). Well spotted
  9. And the intro tease of "Fez" and "Zooropa" was crafty of them... now to actually PLAY "Fez / Being Born" and "Zooropa".... that would be truly awesome to see/hear.
  10. What guitar is he using here?
