1. It's Bb now, aye. It was straight A during PopMart, possibly Elevation, but it went up to Bb during Vertigo.

It's just made me jealous, to be honest.

  2. "I Still Haven't Found..." is a Strat tuned 1/2 down with a capo on the 2nd fret.

    Glastonbury (2011)

    Milan (Vertigo tour)

It was a half step lower during Elevation. The clip below is from the Hamilton show. Edge played it tuned down to "D" - with the capo on the 2nd fret)

Same for Popmart - Mexico City

ZOO tour was tuned 1/2 down with capo on the 2nd fret (like the last two tours)

    Verona 1993:

Love Town 1989 was 1/2 step down. Capo 2nd fret.

Joshua Tree tour the guitar was tuned 1/2 down with capo on the 3rd fret.
  3. So basically, it's now tuned two steps down from the album version which is in C, right?

Sounds like you're doing things right though. Main tip is perseverance, practice and patience. It will come eventually

yup, couldnt have put it better.

.... Ultimate guitar is a really good site for finding guitar tabs, if u hadnt already been on it, and theres stacks of great youtube vids showing u how to play songs.
  5. @ Jeff - indeed. Top work posting all those vids lol

Almost, C#/Db, depending on which you prefer lol. Lowest it went was to A during PopMart and Elevation - as Jeff said, playing on a guitar tuned down to D with the capo on the 2nd fret, now it's back on up Bb. It's in B on the Paris DVD, not too familiar with JT, LT and ZooTV versions but I think they were all in B.
  6. How long has Dallas been working with Edge? I thought I saw where he was working with him on ZooTV, but does anyone know how they started together?

  7. Pretty sure it was some time in 1987. I distinctly remember an interview with Dallas where he said he got the call from Edge, and the new issue of Time magazine (with them on the cover) was sitting on his coffee table.

Okay, thanks. I think LT was in Bb, it sounds a lot like the 360 version if you listen to it. Must be in a lower key than JT tour.

I'm pretty sure JT was in B, and LT and ZooTV in Bb, just like now. I hadn't listened to the album version in a long time, but you're right about that one. I just went by what someone said on some other forum, that person said that the song was now only tuned two steps down. Maybe it was during the Australian tour, I'll have to investigate.
  10. Is Streets actually the only song which has been performed in its original key during all the tours?

  11. Has it? I remember hearing something else. I'll take a listen.
